There are existing problems with the flats on Water Lane with frequent trouble and police visits on a regular occurrence.
There is also parking issues, with me frequently being unable to park my car in my designated area due to other residents in the area taking it.
We are also facing increased traffic and speeders bombing down Water Lane, as a small road it is not built for that and I worry about the local children that play on this road, with additional flats it's undoubtedly going to increase this.
Also objecting to the noise and time taken to do the works in this quiet area.
This quiet residential area is being overloaded with flats bringing trouble, noise and parking issues.

As a neighbour of the proposed development I am concerned that the application is for a four storey building, not in keeping with neighbouring developments, which are all three storey.
My concern is that such a building will block substantially the light to, and interfere with the privacy of residents in properties adjacent to and those backing onto the proposed development.

I live at one of the houses in Painters Court next door to the proposed site.

Please can you answer the following questions.

.has the works been approved?
.whats the appeal process?
.how many appeals so far, if any?
.when is the proposed work to begin if approved?
.how long is the works scheduled for?
.what is offered in terms of compensation to local residents given the fact this 4 storey building will block natural sun light into residents gardens .what is given in the form of compensation for sound pollution during the building period which will cause unrest to family's . It's clear the planning permission was received in May 2019, why are we only hearing about it now.
